Babbabox by Babbaco

A few months ago, I posted a review of our October Babbabox and my disappointment in the quality of the company and the boxes they were sending.  In December, I received the following email from them that explained a lot of the changes we were seeing (I’ve copied and pasted below).  Since I’ve seen quite a few people reading the review lately, I decided to share what they sent their subscribers.  We did have two months left and received two past boxes to fulfill our membership.  It’s sad that what was such a great box declined over time, but I am excited to see what they have in store.

Hello BabbaCo Community!
First of all, I want to thank all of you for your continued love and support which have made BabbaCo the amazing community of parents and families that it is. You may have noticed a few changes to our website in the past month, and some of you even called, emailed and FB messaged us to find out what we were up to. We loved hearing from you!
BabbaCo has some exciting changes in the works. You spoke and we listened. So, we’ll be creating new offerings to meet your needs. Stay tuned for more news, but until then, please see below for IMPORTANT CHANGES to your memberships.

Important changes to your BabbaBox membership:

  • We are no longer offering new subscriptions to the BabbaBox and there will be no more monthly deliveries after December 2013.
  • Monthly Members – Regular and Premium Babbabox: Monthly subscriptions will not renew after December of 2013. You will receive your last BabbaBox in December 2013.  There will be NO need to do anything to cancel.  We will automatically cancel your monthly membership.
  • Annual Members – Regular and Premium BabbaBox: If you have an Annual membership, rest assured, you will receive the correct number of boxes to satisfy the remainder of your subscription. And you will receive all of them in one bulk shipment, in time for the holidays! For example, if you received the first BabbaBox of your Annual membership in June of 2013, you will receive 6 more boxes in December 2013. We’ll make sure you receive great boxes.* You’ll notice that some of these boxes have a different format: the activities are categorized as CREATE, EXPLORE, STORYTELL, CONNECT.  After you receive this shipment, your account will be closed – no new charges will occur.  There is no need to do anything.
  • Digital BabbaBox ONLY Members: Your digital delivery will continue as usual in December 2013. Stay tuned for exciting improvements to your membership in the following months!

We know that this is a lot of change, and that you’ve stayed with us as we’ve continued to refine the BabbaBox. We truly appreciate your loyalty as we learn and grow. We’d love to hear your continued feedback! We will be here working hard to create new ways to help your life be more “simple. functional. and super cute!”

*If you are one of our amazing, loyal customers who has been with us since our first boxes, you may be receiving a couple of your past favorites in your December shipment!
